I am not demanding anything ! I am simply asking for support to get pit spotter working again.
Nothing more !
Kegety's owes me nothing And i have always be grateful(and amazed) of the time and effort people put into making non-profit applications for LFS.

I am not pressuring Kegetys to update his amazing program, but if he's not interested , would he be willing to share the source code so others could update his loved works ?maybe a link to this thread might help him in the right direction

I am not the only one to miss this app ( as i don't have 3 monitors), and I'm sure ( as for previous recent threads) that I'm not alone.

Maybe if I don't get my way ,then physical violence could be an option

Quote from FL!P :
Showing your interest and demonstrating that you're not alone is one thing. Demanding an update to a freeware the way you do it is a remarkable lack of respect to its author! Frankly, you've demonstrated that you don't deserve an update.

I am trying to judge the interest in this add-on application to show the author how much (ultimate)respect there is out there for the app.

question I sent to LFS Tech a while back
"Specifically , are the spring effects /damper effects /centering spring controlled in anyway by LFS? What should the values be set at ?

Quote from LFS Tech :Reply from LFS Tech

Quote" Hello,
These settings in your wheel drivers are not set in any way by LFS. Spring, damper and centering spring should all be set to zero and force strength to 100%. This will give LFS full control, using only the "constant force" effect.

Thanks"

I also presume that 'enable centering spring' should not be ticked?

Always loved rally games but never tried this for some reason.
So downloaded the demo ,everything works fine apart from Force Feedback on my G25.
Tried to update with latest patch V102, but when running the installer ,I get error messages saying either i must use a English, French, Spanish...etc. version or different message saying you must have RBR installed.
Obviously i have both .
Any ideas chaps?

try driver cleaner http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745#download

Driver Cleaner is a program which helps you to remove parts of drivers that are left after uninstalling the old drivers.
Cloning not Stretching

Thanks for taking the time to reply mate

But I actually want to clone the monitors.
i.e have the exact same picture on both monitors, an identical copy on each screen. As i have the LCD's in different physical locations , not next to each other on my desk

I have tried stretching the desktop across the two screen , but as you say , the bar down the middle is annoying.
Three monitors is the way to go , but not on my AGP system (Ageing Graphics Port)

P.S. Both LCD's are connected to the same graphics card

nice design.
I think the shifter should be a lot lower , the top of the gear knob about the same height as your knee.Wheel and monitor needs to be closer to your body.
Thought about top mounting the pedals? http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=16490
dont think the frame needs to extend so far to rear of the seat, which means you could make in one piece.
No adjustment? you might find once it's built and your seated some adjustablity is required to fine tune the positions.
beer /ashtray holder
just my thoughts, good luck

Well the G25 is not really compatible with the BRD Raceframe out the box. The frame was designed for BRD wheels and pedals and before the G25

The clamps for the wheel sit right on a round bar which don't allow for a firm fixing.
The threaded mounts for the wheel are not accessible due to the mesh keyboard tray to the underside of the wheel table. The standard G25 Pedals are way too big for the pedal tray. And no accessories available for shifter/keyboard/mouse.

But apart from that it’s a nice frame, pretty solid with lots of adjustability

So a few modifications later, nearly everything is fitted.
I made a longer mdf base that bolted to the G25 wheel using the threaded fixings in the base , then bolted the mdf base to the raceframe wheel platforms threading fixings. This saved making big holes in the mesh tray to gain access to the wheels threaded holes .The box shaped mesh tray adds stiffness to the wheel platform.
I had been using my G25 pedals top mounted at my desk, so wasn't that disappointed that the g25 pedal base is too large .Also received the speed 7 pedal inverted mounting kit, but couldn’t work out how it fitted!
So reduced the size of my previous pedal box to fit inside the raceframe pedal supports.
The monitor stand is to low for my diminutive 17" widescreen lcd, designed with something bigger in mind. Using the wall bracket, built a mdf frame to lift the monitor higher and bolted this to the raceframe monitor stand threaded fixings.
Still unsure whether to weld something up to bolt to the raceframe , or build a mdf 'transmission tunnel' to hold the gear shifter.Mdf route would allow a handbrake , button box ,ashtray ,cup holder etc to be mounted easily.
Keyboard is currently lying on the floor, can’t think what to do with that, probably better with a button box .Mouse sits on the wheel platform
Need to remove some mdf round the pedals router the edges and paint.

Clone LFS 2 LCD's

I have 2 indentical LCD's ,1 on race frame, 1 on desk. Would like to have LFS display on both screens. Using ATI Tray Tools there is an option to clone in Display/settings , but on LCD 1(dvi) I cant select the clone option and on lcd 2 (rgb)the options are greyed out.Can this be done? Doesn't seem worth purchasing ultramon just for this function as the second LCD is fixed to the race frame
